Genesis 12:1.. The Lord had said to Abram: “Get out of your country, From your family And from your father’s house, To a land that I will show you.”

God told Abram to do three things: leave his country, separate himself from his family, and go to a land that God promised to show him. Abram followed through on the first requirement, but he failed to do the last two. He left Ur of the Chaldees, but instead of separating himself from his family, he took along Terah his father and Lot his nephew.

Terah means “delay.” Allowing his father to accompany him resulted in a delay of five years in Haran. Haran means “parched, dry place, extremely dry place.”

Abram delayed his own destiny because he took with him those whom God said not to take. He endured a five-year dry period in his life and never even made it to Canaan. He stopped and stayed in Haran until his father’s death finally broke the link that bound Abram to Haran. Only then did he enter Canaan.

Lot’s name means “covering or veil,” and it comes from a verb meaning “to wrap up.” Lot wrapped up and entangled Abraham in all kinds of problems. Abraham actually divided his inheritance to provide land for Lot (in the region of Sodom and Gomorrah). That was when he finally said to Lot what he should have said a lot earlier, “Please separate from me” (Gen. 13:9 nkjv).

John 18:36Jesus said, “My kingdom is not of this world. If it were, my servants would fight to prevent my arrest by the Jewish leaders. But now my kingdom is from another place.”

John 18:36 is probably one of the most misquoted Scriptures in the Bible, which may explain why most of us do not understand the kingdom. The first part of the verse, “My kingdom is not of this world,” is not an excuse for the church to withdraw from the world and go into hiding. Our unlawful retreat has allowed the world’s systems to have their way, and now they are paraly ing us!

Ironically, most of our casualties occur while we do our best to avoid confrontation with the world’s systems. We hide in our comfortable religious bunkers and systematically retreat rather than advance because we do not think we have the authority or jurisdiction to take on the world’s systems.

We serve a kingdom that is not of this world, but the King reclaimed the earth when He rose from the dead. Why would God give you a seat of authority with the privilege of resting your foot on your enemy’s neck if there was no conflict? Souls are at stake, and a harvest is coming. Where do they come from? We snatch them out of the flames of hell and wrestle them from the fiery grip of the devil!

Jesus won the battle, but He expects us to handle the mop-up and occupation operations! Why do we gather in stadiums and churches to lick our wounds like a defeated army waiting for emergency evacuation? We seem to want somebody to preach something to make us feel good so we can go back home and continue to be oppressed, and brokenhearted until the next meeting. This sad victim cycle will continue until we stand up in Jesus’ name and engage the kingdoms of this world in boldness and power!

Do not excuse yourself from military service any longer. The King has called and appointed you; now go out and aggressively engage the kingdoms of this world. You have the power, the authority, and the mind of Christ. Nothing and no one can stop you—except you.

STAND STILL AND DO NOT FEAR

Exodus 14:13..Moses said to the people, “Do not be afraid. Stand still, and see
the salvation of the Lord, which He will accomplish for you today. For the Egyptians whom you see today, you shall see again no more forever.”
A lot may be going on in this nation and the world, and you may even see trouble brewing up and down your street. It does not matter—this is not the time for the people of God to be afraid. On the other hand, this is a great time for the unredeemed to be afraid.
As for you, remember Paul’s counsel to young Timothy during the difficult times of the first-century church: “God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. Therefore do not be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord” (2 Tim. 1:7–8a nkjv).
God gave you—I said you—a Spirit of power. The Almighty also gave you a Spirit of love. Despite what you hear blaring on the evening news; no matter what you read in the newspapers about failing economies, corruption, and rising crime rates in your area, God also gave you the Spirit of a sound mind. No, you are not cra y; you are just different from the people who should be worrying.
Listen to Moses’ advice. Put your trust in God and see His salvation pass right before your eyes. This is not a time to be afraid. Just stand still and watch God handle everything.

POWER OF WORDS

Mathew 12:37.. For by your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned.”

If we are unhappy with the life we live, we have only one person to blame because we built it.Inshort: we spoke into existence the very situation in which we find ourselves right now. Jesus said, “For by your words you will be justified [the Amplified says and acquitted], and by your words you will be condemned” (Matt. 12:37 nkjv). That means sentenced. Our own words determine whether we are justified or condemned.

God did not let any of Samuel’s words fall to the ground (1 Sam. 3:19)? That means they all came to pass. Jesus said that whatever you ask in His name, He will bring to pass (John 14:13–14). Whatever we speak that is not according to God’s ways will condemn us.

The common denominator in all this is that results proceed from the words you speak. The writer of Proverbs declared, “Death and life are in the power of the tongue, / And those who love it will eat its fruit” (Prov. 18:21 nkjv). Words are more powerful than we realize. According to the first chapter of Genesis, our universe literally came into being when God simply spoke a word.

If your situation looks dismal at the moment, then start talking differently. Start praising God and watch things change—they have no choice.

2Corinthians 5:7.. For we live by faith, not by sight.

Our primary problem as human beings is that we cannot see the way we should. Our physical eyes work, but our spiritual eyes are underdeveloped because of neglect. The Bible says we must walk by faith and not by sight, yet most of us walk by sight and not by faith.

For instance, When we woke up this morning, what were we worried about? What was the first thing to weigh on our mind? Whatever it was, it may well mark the place where we stopped trusting God and started seeing our problems with our natural eyes instead of our spiritual ones.

When we worry about something, we allow it to put stress on our emotions and physical body. We are walking by sight. If we operate in true faith in God, we will let Him handle the situation. The problem is that when we fail to see a situation through God’s eyes, we focus on the problem rather than on the answer. That is not kingdom living!

Let us turn our walk around. Walk by faith, not by sight. Begin to see our world through God’s eyes, not through our physical eyes

GET THE BATTLE PLAN

Every general that goes in to battle does not do so blindly. He goes in having a plan, a battle plan on how he is going to overcome the enemy. As Christians we have a general who is Christ Jesus our Lord and savior. We usually say that the battle is the Lords and He has already won the battle. If that is the case why is it that sometime we go out into the battle field and instead of victory, we receive a thrashing?

Joshua 7:2-4

While Israel was still camped near Jericho, Joshua sent some spies with these instructions: “Go to the town of Ai and find out whatever you can about the region around the town.” The spies left and went to Ai, which is east of Bethel and near Beth-Aven.

They went back to Joshua and reported, “You don’t need to send the whole army to attack Ai–two or three thousand troops will be enough. Why bother the whole army for a town that small?”

Joshua sent about three thousand soldiers to attack Ai. But the men of Ai fought back and chased the Israelite soldiers away from the town gate and down the hill to the stone quarries. Thirty-six Israelite soldiers were killed, and the Israelite army felt discouraged.

Joshua and the armies of Israel had just come from one of the greatest victories we read in the bible. They had torn the fortified city of Jericho into pieces and killed all the inhabitants and their animals, all except Rahab the harlot and all that were in her house.

Such a great feeling of victory, one of those feelings that leads us to say, let us do it again! This time around it is a small city but Joshua does not get his battle plan from the Lord, instead he follows the suggestions of the men he sends out to spy on the city.

The results? Israel suffers a great defeat and 36 men lose their lives.

Like I said, we are at war and our enemy is the devil. We have a general who says that the victory is already ours. So, what is the most sensible thing to do before we engage the enemy? Simply talk to the general and ask Him what the battle plan is, since He has already won the battle.

At times when we experience a victory, we let our guard down and we become careless and the devil knows it. That is why many times he will attack right after we have experienced a victory.

There is a battle plan for every kind of attack that the enemy brings our way. The thing is this, though the battle may look the same like the previous one; never assume that the battle plan will remain the same. Never rely on our strength and understanding, because when we do that then the battle ceases to be the Lords and it becomes ours. When that happens we are guaranteed of failure. Never underestimate the enemy, he is crafty and deceitful. Always depend on Jesus even when it seems like we are well equipped to win the battle alone.

Ps N

“Whenever you receive a Prophetic word you actually board it like and airplane. You are not suppose to try and carry the word, the Prophetic word is designed to carry you. The word will be your GPS and navigate you to your Destiny. Relax! and trust the word it will land you at your appointed place at the appointed time.”

Your PRAISE goes into situations and circumstances and settles things BEFORE YOU ARRIVE! It is a prohetic weapon..”Send it in, FIRST!!!”

Terah means “delay.” Allowing his father to accompany him resulted in a delay of five years in Haran. Haran means “parched, dry place, extremely dry place.” Are you in a dry place spiritually? If you are, perhaps you have someone with you whom God told you to leave behind.

Abram delayed his own destiny because he took with him those whom God said not to take. He endured a five-year dry period in his life and never even made it to Canaan. LET IT GO

There are people who can walk away from you.

And hear me when I tell you this! When people can walk away from you: let them walk. I don’t want you to try to talk another person into staying with you, loving you, calling you, caring about you, coming to see you, staying attached to you. I mean hang up the phone.

When people can walk away from you let them walk. Your destiny is never tied to anybody that left.

The bible said that, they came out from us that it might be made manifest that they were not for us. For had they been of us, no doubt they would have continued with us. [1 John 2:19]

People leave you because they are not joined to you. And if they are not joined to you, you can’t make them stay.

Let them go.

And it doesn’t mean that they are a bad person it just means that their part in the story is over. And you’ve got to know when people’s part in your story is over so that you don’t keep trying to raise the dead.. You’ve got to know when it’s dead.

You’ve got to know when it’s over. Let me tell you something.. I’ve got the gift of good-bye. It’s the tenth spiritual gift, I believe in good-bye.. It’s not that I’m hateful, it’s that I’m faithful, and I know whatever God means for me to have He’ll give it to me. And if it takes too much sweat I don’t need it. Stop begging people to stay.

Let them go!!!
